Our story
A legacy of hospitality
since 1913
The Belle Époque — Villa du Sport. As early as 1913, an establishment known as Hôtel et Villa du Sport, owned by Mr. Hubert, is listed in Vichy’s tourist guides. It appears in the Guide de l’Étranger à Vichy (1913) and the Vichy thermal et touristique (1922), before the exact address of 3 rue Louis Blanc is confirmed from 1930 onwards: thirty rooms, hot and cold running water, full board and a seasonal opening from April to October, welcoming spa-goers who came to take the waters.
1992 — The Callou name is born. The Coursol family, long-time hoteliers at 3 rue Louis Blanc, sell the building to the Société d’exploitation de l’Hôtel Résidence des Bains Callou. This marks the birth of the name that still inhabits our walls today.
2002-2025 — Aux Thermalines. The establishment carries on its hospitality tradition under the name Aux Thermalines, with fitted studios featuring kitchenettes, for spa-goers and travellers passing through Vichy.
Today — Les Sources Callou. We are taking up the torch, reconnecting with the historic name of 1992 and reviving the original spirit of the place. Twenty fully renovated apartments, refined finishes, member of The Originals Hotels network — more than a century later, the promise remains the same: to care for those who come to care for themselves. A standard of quality guides every apartment, from the marble bathrooms to the premium bedding.
Marine, a former senior nurse in Vichy’s intensive care unit, knows better than anyone what it means to take care. Anthony, by her side, makes sure nothing is ever left to chance. Together, they have made Callou more than just a place to stay: a precious retreat, worthy of life’s important moments.

The former Aux Thermalines?
Yes — and much older still. The address has welcomed travellers since 1913 under the name Villa du Sport, then Bains Callou from 1992, and Aux Thermalines from 2002 to 2025. Les Sources Callou now reconnects with the historic name, in fully redesigned apartments.
